If you are picking up at a library other than the library system your card originates from, you will need to enter the password you use in the library where you are picking up, which may or may not be the same as the password you use in your home library system. Select the Libby icon in the top right corner. On the MNLink site you will need to log in with your library barcode and password starting on February 1. Existing Libby users (youve already signed up through a public library). If you use Overdrive or Libby at multiple libraries, you will need to use the password for the library you are logging in through, which may or may not be the same as the password you use at SPPL. In Overdrive and in the Libby app you will need to log in with your barcode and password the first time that you take an action (such as checking out an item, placing a hold, etc.) after February 1. If you don't remember your password you can reset it at, opens a new window. ![]() ![]() All other metro libraries require passwords to log into the shared Twin Cities Metro eLibrary and a recent policy change at MNLink makes passwords required for libraries statewide. This change will help us protect the privacy of your account information. Beginning February 1, 2023, if you use MNLink, opens a new window for interlibrary loan and/or Overdrive and the Libby app, opens a new window for e-books and e-audiobooks, you will need to enter the password for your library account as well as your library card number when signing in.
